Eastern Choice in Reading

"It must be about 10 years since I last had food from this place and I understand there has been a change of ownership in that time. However, I can report that the food is as good as I recall. I'm pretty sure it was the first place I had tried "smoked chicken" and sadly my local does not offer this dish, so I took it upon myself to make a 18 mile drive here to satisfy that craving! We also ordered chicken sweet and sour, chicken curry, salt and pepper chips, egg fried rice and chicken chow mein. The price was very reasonable and Eastern Choice represents good value with tasty food."

"Since this takeaway has been taken over by a new family, the menu and quality of food served has had a complete revamp for the better. A variety of Chinese food offered, fish n chips, noodles, sea food and so on. Prices are reasonable and the portions are are plenty. Food is served freshly and in a timely fashion. Plenty of free parking outside on the roadside and accessible for all."

"Ordered a lovely traditional chip shop. Chicken pie cooked to perfection, saveloy a tad smaller than i remember but chips, sweet and sour and curry sauce absolutely smashing! Running a little late on pick up, but staff called to check in and food was hot throughout. Will definitely be ordering again. Thankyou for your amazing customer service A***"

"Lovely food, we really like the Chinese and the fish and chips. We get a takeaway from here most weeks. The owners are lovely, so friendly and even remember us by name. I definitely recommend it!"

"Food is nice here and the people who run the place are lovely. Only downside is the huge amount of disrespectful kids/ teens that accumulate outside. Very loud, swearing, spitting and not always wanting to move their bikes out the way of doorways along the row of shops here. I think many people would find this intimidating and just go elsewhere. Obviously this is not the fault of the businesses here but it does have an impact on the customer experience"
